Halloumi Wraps

Made from goat's and sheep's milk, Halloumi is a fantastic meat substitute and that's brilliantly demonstrated in this recipe. This quick and easy meal will enable students to glide their way through lunch, preparing them for the rest of the day.

Remember to turn your Halloumi whilst on the grill or it'll start to stick otherwise. Halloumi tends to cook on the gril for 4 to 5 minutes but keep an eye on it just in case it cooks quicker.

Halloumi Wraps

Step 1

Turn on your grill and set the temperature to a low heat. Place your thinly cut strips of Halloumi onto the grill and close the lid. Keep an eye on them and flip when they start to turned golden brown.

Step 2

While the Halloumi is cooking, start preparing your additional fillings for your wraps. For this, we've used Lettuce and Cherry Tomatoes. It's easy to add more such as Onion and Peppers. Chop, dice or slice your vegetables and start layering

your wrap. Once the Halloumi is cooked, add it to your wrap and add a few drops of sauce to add flavour. In this case, we've just added Sweet Chilli sauce but Garlic Mayo also works well.

Step 3

Fold your wraps and enjoy!
